2025 Newtown Grant Improvement Recap & Highlights

Below is a year-end review of all the improvements made within Newtown Grant as we close out the year 2025.  More improvements are scheduled to come in 2026.

Recreation

· Installed Pickleball Key Access Control System and Online Court Reservation System

· Reconstructed all four (4) Tennis Courts

· Partnered with Goodwill to offer a Yearly Donation and Electronic Waste Drive 

Pool

· Purchased Robot Pool Vacuum

· All New Junior Pool Tables, Umbrella’s and Umbrella Stands 

· Added Wednesday Evening Weekly Aquacise Class

· Created Private Summer Swim Lessons

· Renovated Both Outdoor Pool Pavilions

Landscaping

· Removed all diseased and dying Bradford Pear Trees in the first tree line along South Drive

· Opened Up Site Line to Newtown Creek from South Drive

· Removed all diseased and dying Bradford Pear Trees in Marigold Entrance Islands and replaced them with new October Glory Red Maple Trees

Roads/Parking

· Seal Coated Recreation Walking Path from South Drive to Clubhouse.
