Please be advised that due to the forecasted weather starting today through Saturday morning. The Annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale will be on Sunday, October 1st from 8:00am-12:00pm. Recreation Drive will be CLOSED starting at 6:00am on Sunday for any vehicle not associated with a participating vendor/seller. Parking will open starting at 8:00am for buyers. All parking will be directed to the softball field. Cost to park is $1.00 per vehicle.
Any customer needing to pick up a large purchase may drive to the Recreation Center circle to pick it up. Customers cannot drive thru the sales area. Large items may be taken to the circle so that you may load your vehicle then the vehicle must vacate the area once it's been loaded. No vehicles will be allowed to stay parked in the circle.
Once the sale has concluded general parking at the upper lots near the pickleball and basketball courts will resume. Parking at the lower lots located by the pool and clubhouse will remain closed until the vendors have had a chance to pack up. As soon as the vendors have packed up, parking will be available at the lots by the pool and clubhouse.
