Updated Pool Opening Information - June 18

Attention All Newtown Grant Homeowners – June 18, 2020

The pool will open on Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 AM.

At this time, the pool will open for 8-hours a day. On every Saturday and Sunday, the pool will be open from 11 am - 7 pm. On weekdays, the pool will be open from 12 pm to 8 pm.

The Pool will operate on 2-hour increments. All residents entering the pool will need to sign-in. The first 64 people will be permitted into the pool area for 2 hours. At 1:00PM, everyone will vacate the pool to allow for the next 64 people to enjoy the facility, and so on and so on until 7pm when the pool closes for the day.

Residents will be asked to leave 5 mins before the next time and will be notified 10 mins in advance.

This will be enforced until further notice. Thank You for understanding.

Guests are not permitted. ONLY RESIDENTS OF NEWTOWN GRANT ARE PERMITTED AT THIS TIME. The 'Nanny' or 'Granny Passes' are not offered at this time. Any changes to this policy will be sent out via email blast email should the Bucks County Department of Health (BCDH) change their current guidelines.

Masks are mandatory when checking in at the pool.

We strongly encourage you to wear your mask if you are waiting in line to validate a pass or waiting in line to enter the pool. The Clubhouse is only open for pool passes at this time even when the pool is open.

Hand sanitizer stations will be set up for your use. Trash cans will be set up near the exit to throw your wrist band out when leaving the pool at the designated time. The bathrooms will be cleaned and disinfected every hour on the hour for the entire time the pool is open.

The Janitorial Company will close one bathroom for 30 min, clean, and then reopen the bathroom. Then the next bathroom will be cleaned and disinfected and opened for use. We ask that you please be patient with them to make ensure the bathrooms are clean during the entire time the pool is open. The bathroom inside the Clubhouse are not open for use at this time.

Residents will need to bring their own chairs and blankets to use at the pool. At this time, pool furniture will not be provided. This may change if we move into the Green phase and everyone will be notified accordingly.

The pool deck will be sectioned off by paint to allow for different groups of people. When you enter the pool you will see areas painted to allow for proper social distancing between chairs and blankets.

THE BLUE SPACES WILL BE FOR SINGLE OR SMALLER PARTIES. THE WHITE AREAS ARE FOR PARTIES GREATER THAN 3.

If you have your pool pass from last year and only need a current year sticker, you can have your pool pass updated weekdays between 3 and 5 pm on weekdays in the Managers offices upstairs in the clubhouse (Natalie and Steve will not be providing new pool passes, only updating current passes during this time period).

You can also update your pool pass in the evening from 4pm-8pm weekdays and 3pm-7pm weekends in the Rec Manager’s Office.

To obtain a new or updated pool pass your account must be in good standing with no outstanding amounts due. If you need a new pool pass, please bring proof of address with you (driver's license is acceptable or a utility bill - (junk mail is not acceptable). All residents 18 years old or older will need to sign a COVID-19 liability waiver in order to obtain a new pool pass or have their existing pass updated. Parents will need to sign for minors under the age of 18 and the minor(s) name(s) will be listed on the waiver. A copy of the waiver is available for your review on www.newtowngrant.org/poolpassrules

When obtaining a new pass or updating your pool pass, each person MUST BE PRESENT to sign the waiver. Unfortunately, without a signed waiver we cannot provide you with a new pool pass or a sticker to validate your old pool pass.

Thank you for your attention in this matter and feel free to contact Management with any questions. We ask that you please comply with these procedures and please give us your ongoing patience throughout this time.
